I'm having a problem with our Hotronix Auto Clam, hoping for some insight!

The PVC spacers under the lower platen continually crack and crumble. We have replaced the left spacer 4 times and the right spacer 3 times since having the heat press for about 6 months.

I've called the manufacturer and had 1 replacement set sent to me and I've stolen the spacers from spare platens, but they continue to crumble apart after a short amount of time.

The breakage results in premature press popping and uneven pressure. Extremely frustrating!

Has anyone heard of this happening or have any ideas why?

If the machine is not operating properly, and is still under warranty, you might want to call the company who you purchased it from and have it repaired or replaced.
