Loud gear grinding noise after installing new pump/capping assembly on diy Epson r 1800 dtg printer. I seams something is out of sink, not sure how to go about making proper adjustment. I welcome your advise .. see attached link to Vid

I had the same problem with one of my old builds
your print head is sticking in the capping station

My quick fix was to slightly skim the catch with a stanley knife, this resolved the issue..

I looked underneath nothing there to obstruct the head. It is possible the the capping/pump might have bee a refurbished one, maybe broken.. Anyway I ordered a new one, will have it in a few days.

Problem is fixed,, replaced capping assembly..
