Hello Everyone

My name is Lamont and I have a bachelors degree in accounting/management. The problem is I have never had an accounting job and can't currently find one without any experience!!! I currently work in manufacturing doing general labor!!

I am familiar with Adobe Photoshop and Dreamweaver and figured I should try and start a T-Shirt business to gain some experience!!

I would be grateful for any advice that anyone should have here as I start my "Journey" :)

Aren't there any internships available through your college that would give you some experience?

Go to youtube and watch some videos of the different print methods and see which one appeals to you the most. They all require an investment in equipment that can run into the thousands of dollars.

The different types of printing are: sublimation, heat transfers (inkjet, laser, plastisol, foil, vinyl) and screen printing. There are others but this is a good starting point. Once you find one you think you'd like to learn, come back here and go to that kind's specific forum section and start reading up on it. There are pros and cons to each kind, and each kind has it's own unique learning curve. Heat transfers is probably the easiest to learn. Some are only suitable for white and light colored material, some can be done on darks.
