We are in the market for a newer 6head SWF machine. Compact model..
I prefer the LED machine with the new cap drivers.
Would prefer a machine less than 3 yrs old.

'6 head' and 'compact' are mutually exclusive... there is no such combination. The compact machines are only available in single head 6, 9 or 15 needle I'm pretty sure, I don't recall seeing a 12 needle compact.

For the multi-head machines, they are typically single function (all heads run the same design) or dual-function where it can be operated as 2 separate designs, each running on half of the heads. I don't recall seeing a dual-function 6 head, they are typically 2, 4 or 8 head machines.

Swf does have a dual 6 head but looking for used is a different story. Beacon funding will know where there are machines for sale

Negative batman. SWF makes 2 6heads... 1 is the standard model that has a jacketback frame of 16x17... The other is a compact with a jacket back of 12.5x17 and will fit thru a 36" door opening.

Hmmm are you sure about that? When we looked at Swf the 6 head was a little bigger than the 36". Maybe they have another that I didn't look at

Yes they will fit thru a standard door opening as it says on their site.
