looking to do a "space/galaxy" print

2169 Views 3 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  Celtic
I am printing shirts for my clothing line and one of the designs ive been wanting to do has text with a "space/galaxy" fill to them.
Ive been looking around and cant exactly figure out how to i guess separate the colors to print it. I screen print my own shirts and use Photoshop and Illustrator to design them.
any help as to how to get it ready to print would help!
thanks

Joseph

You could go with 4 color process. That should work well with the transparent aspect of CMYK inks. Definitely halftones. I use UltraSeps for sepping in Photoshop and AccuRip for the halftones.
hmm ive never tried CMYK inks. I guess ill have to test that out, thanks!

You're welcome.
Remember that since CMYK inks are transparent, you'll want to print on white or light colors. You can also do a white underbase.

Have fun!
