your going to have to go online and buy that way. There isn't any in NYC that I know of. There are some reasonable prices in the garment district but you'll still be paying 2-3 times as much if you order on line and get wholesale pricing. Send me your email address and I'll forward an list of websites with t-shirts and free software too etc.. [email protected]

Friedmans active wear use to be on orchard st . downtown they have moved to brooklyn, but they are fabulous. great prices. that whole orchard st. area use to have all sorts of tee shirt wholesalers. its been a while since i have been there but i can not imagine it has changed that much. clue me in
Just to take a step back for a second...

If there was a store that sold shirts wholesale and was open to the public, why would anyone buy retail? I think the retailers would be all over the suppliers to stop it immediately...

You might be able to get better pricing from places like Costco or buy things on sale at Wally-world. Otherwise, you would need to get a wholesale account with suppliers and buy in volume to get the best prices.
I need about 250 to 500 counts
28th and 6th has some places that sell T's for $25 a dozen. They have a large amount of shirts laid out I'm sure if you want to buy 500 they will give you a discount. I'm not sure on their selection of colored t's but they do have white t's.
that my dear is the beauty of new york.
ever hear the term "i can get it for you wholesale" you have to show resale id
i left ny in 92 so things may have changed but i know friedmans was there
up until last year so i am sure there has to be some , there still.
many tee companies offer free shipping if you order reg price ie 1.67 for a guildan 2000 instead of sale price 1.32 as long as you order 200.00 over the internet.
i am not sure if i am allowed to give names of wholesalers on this forum.
was giving out friedmans ok?
25 dollar a dozen is really expensive. Last time i tried to get a bargain, the owner only gave me 50 cents off.

Have you considered Eva Tees? They have pickup in Jamaica, Queens. This might be a cheaper, more reliable option for you.
EVATEES APPAREL & ACCESSORIES
Royal Apparel is a NY Based Apparel Manufacturer, FYI...
About by know a good wholesaler in Chicago? Thanks
I can tell all who want to listen - In NYC in the garment district from E24th street to E30th street from 6th Ave to Broadway there are presently at least a dozen wholesale locations. Fact. They also say you need resale certificate to purchase - right up front on the door - that is for the inspectors - you have money they will sell to you. Fact They have all colors and all sizes short, long, thermal, hoodies etch. On 28th around 5th there a few stores you can get shirts already decorated. I have several of the items in my store - located in Brooklyn. If 25 a dozen do not go down there for the price is very close to that - you might get some off for the amount. I get most of my stuff from Eva - or BR and you will be paying more than 25 a dozen. My problem with the garment district the shirts are usually in packs and when you get to where ever you going you have surprises. The quality is good - great for embroidery - thick shirts. The brands are no names - Sun, Net, etc. Delancey is still there but now I use them strictly for leather goods that I embroided for the Auto Clubs - etc. Just thought I offer information for a place I recently visited.

Has anybody been to the Building 1165, on 27th and Broadway? Allegedly upper floors have multiple t-shirt indy wholesalers according to this article:
