Hi. I'm new to this site and am excited to be part of it. I am wondering if anyone knows of stores around the Dallas, Ga area where I can go and actually put my hands on pieces of vinyl to purchase. I want to purchase individual Htv or permanent vinyl not in a roll.

Not sure if sign warehouse in Denison has a showroom, but they'll have vinyl.

All vinyl pretty much feels the same before pressing. Not sure what benefit you'll get.

it is hard to tell when the vinyl is on the carrier sheet what the end product will feel like

a better bet is to hit a trade-show, then there will be samples on shirts for you to feel and see

or simply ask for samples for you to trial
i know thermoflex will send you samples, along with a pamphlet of all their colors/materials

siser also has a booklet with samples of all their colors/materials

I just got free sample from SiserNA. Came to find out that in their website that Easyweed, Cad-Cat etc... are listed.

I got sample by clicking contact. Filled the form. In the comment I requested for sample of specified product. The sample I requested was Colorprint Soft 2.0.

Get sample then press it yourself so you have actual experience on ease of application and hand of the HTV. You can judge the softness of HTV especially when it is large solid piece on the shirt. Cut a large rectangular piece then press it on a scrap shirt.

I have not used vinyl other than Thermoflex Plus and Extra. Both had soft hand and feels like silkscreen.
