Hi Everyone,

I'm looking for a very specific type of t-shirt and have contacted 2 suppliers (not sure if that's the right term). One is online and one is a local clothing/trinket/wine bottle etching shop that my friend's print shop has worked with in the past.

I am looking for a very specific type of shirt, but i don't think they offer it.

I'm looking for a CRISP and high quality shirt that is NOT soft, form-fitting, or the typical shirt. Think the exact opposite of American Apparel.

The print shop offered me gilden and hanes shirts, but i did a t-shirt for my work on a beefy hanes and while it's a step closer from American Apparel, it's still not what i'm looking for.

Supposedly i'm looking for a heavier weight cotton (hanes beefy and gilden shirts were in the range of 6.0 to 6.1 oz?).

When looking at a couple of t-shirt lines that i support, they say they are 100% cotton and all have custom labels.

I'm looking at printing my first 3 designs that is geared towards an urban/younger demographic. I will only run a limited amount of each design and once they sell out, they sell out for good. I may make variations and on a different color if there is a vast amount of demand, but never the exact same thing.

Please help....Anyone!

The t-shirts indeed are 100% cotton.

i'm not sure if i'm looking for a tighter weave or a heavier cotton.

Form fitting to me would be american apparel shirts. they are really soft and you can see the contours of your body.

AA shirts are not what i'm looking for because they will lose their shape after a handful of washes and will stretch over time. i want something that will hold it's shape after withholding a few washes. obviously if you wash it, it won't fit like it was brand new, but i don't want an unhappy customer (if they are picky like i am).

Many finished cotton tees do a water wash for a better softness, for a sturdy feel, the wash finishment can be cancelled.

The shirt has to be cut more fitted, at chest and waistline, can't be any box shape. How do you think the t-shirt design in the attached picture?

I have to say, a higher quality cotton fabric will make sense to do as your demand.
