Hello hello,

I'm Jeremy the guy who runs the Amorphia Apparel Family of shirts. A few years ago, right when I was starting out I was approached by a representative from Chaser Merchandising who wanted to license out some of my designs for them to wholesale.

It worked out great for a while, I sent over some vector files and signed off on them, they print the designs and sold them at urban outfitters and the like. In the end I got about $1 a shirt and they moved like 4k units a quarter, a nice bonus on top of my own sales.

Unfortunately about 8 months in the guy in Chaser who I had been working with sent me an e-mail saying he was quitting his job with them and moving out to New York, and that he was handing off my account to someone else higher up in the company. Well, I never heard back from the new guy and sales stopped.

My own sales had picked up enough that I just sort of forgot about my foray into licensing, but now I'm thinking I should make an effort to find another deal along those lines. So finally here is my question:

What other well known companies operate along those lines: folks that licence designs and then print them wholesale and rep them out to brick and mortar stores.

I'm not looking for just a sales rep to sell stuff I've had printed myself, nor am I looking for a company to print wholesale for me where I then have to turn around and sell the good myself.

I've been Googling for t-shirt merchandisers and wholesalers and whatnot but I can't seem to find other companies like chaser to try and contact. Instead it is just companies like BlankShirts.com and ShirtWholesaler.com which is definitely not what I'm looking for.

I figure if I can find a few names of other companies I can try and reach out to them and convince them I'm a good bet, given that I've already established a decent amount of business online.

Thanks much!

Your graphics are good enuf for you to do them yourself!

Amorphia Apparel - Look on my shirts, ye mighty, and despair!

Just spend $4k for a booth at POOL, POOLTRADESHOW | Las Vegas | Homepage

or a table at MAGIC, Each February and August, the fashion industry converges on Las Vegas for one of the most influential three days in the business - the MAGIC Marketplace.
and do it yourself.

You might never look back! The guys at Chaser can't (or won't) do anything that you can't.

Or you could even find a sales rep (at MAGIC)...

I personally think that MAGIC and even the old and original concept of Wholesale is quickly becoming obsolete due to the direct sales possibilities of the internet...
