Looking for good Printer/Retagging in Denver

259 Views 6 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  ActiveState
Hello there,

I have been using a good printer in the Denver area for some time now (my company, ActiveState Designs is based in Denver). I am very happy with the quality, however they don't offer a re-tagging service. They do offer a tag removal and print tag service (which is nice). But their prices aren't the cheapest.

I am looking for a good cheap printer that I can purchase my shirts for cheap. I now have retailers interested in my product and I want to make sure I can sell to them for a good price, great quality, and still make a profit so my business can grow.

Right now I can buy a Navy shirt with 3 color print, and printed tag for $10.50. It seems a bit high? Is it not?

Thanks all,
Lorne

For a shirt dark shirt that requires a flash & two print locations I'd say your getting a great price. Especially if your ordering less then 144 shirts at a time.

Your printer probably uses imprints wholesale as one of their distributors, They are headquartered in Denver,, they offer a woven label service....
Thanks for the reply.

Yea so that is a reasonable price. Then how much should I offer to sell these dark shirts to retailers? I mean I really have no idea what is reasonable? I think I offered to sell them

I have a few suppliers interested and need to know what to offer them. Is it typical to offer them cheaper prices the more they order?

Thanks,
Lorne

Yes, Most screen prints offer breaks at like 36, 77 , 144 and so on, at 500 you should really bring that price down.
So the cost of me purchasing at $10.50 goes down for me at an order of 50. Then an order of 75, etc. I should not drop the price for the retailer until they order 500+? If I purchase at $10.50, what should I sell for? What's reasonable?

Good to know, I already gave them a rough outline of cost based on the amount of colors and shirt styles. Oops. Perhaps I shouldn't have done that.

But maybe this gets my foot in the door and opens up opportunities in the future.

Thanks,
Lorne

Thanks Rodney,

Sorry it got a little off topic.

Anyone have suggestions on what I should offer my shirts to retailers for?

Thanks,
Lorne
