The cutter that I am using does not have a stand so it sits on a table. I'm looking for a holder/dispenser that I can put behind the cutter that would keep the vinyl roll up off the table and allow the vinyl to roll off of the roll when I am cutting. Is there such a holder? If so, where can I purchase one?

Do you have an ikea near by? They have a paper holder for their Childrens easel they sell. I used it for my zing before I got the stand it holds a 15 inch roll of vinyl right behind the cutter.
Yes I do have an Ikea not to far from me. So are you able to keep the roll of vinyl on the holder as you are cutting without causing the vinyl to drag? I thought I would need something that has rollers so that it would help feed the vinyl more easily but if a craft paper holder is all I need that would be way easier to find.

Does that depend on the machine? I can't imagine someone with a big pro machine standing there unrolling the vinyl by hand while it cuts 30 16' banners.
yes it depends on the machine, big expensive ones come with power feed & take up spools for large unattended runs.
I dont know of anyone who would cut 30 16' banners unattended, one mistake could be very costly.
I dont believe they will be cutting that long of a run with a 15" desktop plotter.

smaller machines are not made for those situations and require a bit of babysitting, most that dont come with a stand or feed roller are not made to feed off a roll anyway. it also depends on your cut speed, I run mine @ 700 ipm so if it tries to pull vinyl off the roll by its self it will cause the material to slip and ruin the cut
