Looking to start printing heat transfers. Spoke with Richard at Cobra (nice enough guy). Also spoke with Bestblanks. I live in florida so I was thinking of taking a trip down to their showroom next week. Any ideas, opinions or questions I should ask. I've read some good things on here about Cobra but I haven't seen much (recently) about Bestblanks. I'm concerned about customer support and technical support. I have a feeling that I'll have alot of questions if I even get the printer.

You can't beat purchasing an Epson 1100 with the CIS system already installed from Cobra. You will never look back.

Bestblank was qouting $750 for a E1400/ink system. I told them that I wanted the CIS installed and they said if I went down there they may be able to do it. I havent heard the final on that.

I got my refill carts for my epson r280 and when I upgrade I was thinking about buying that workforce they have...

But staples has one on sale for 119.99 And I could just get refill carts from cobra for 40 bucks.... or so... What do you think cis or refill?

Refill carts for me. I pop them out, fill them up, wait a couple of minutes till the printer resets and pop them back in. Just need to buy ink.

Is that more cost effective than the CIS. Are you always ordering refills? I bought a DTG once apon a time. Huge mistake! But $250.00 investment is more palitable than $12,000.00. I know these two are worlds apart I'm just a little gun shy with a printer purchase.
