Hello,

Today I started testing with sublimation. The outcome is not as I expected I need to test some more. But maby someone can help me out before I run out of shirts

If you see attached picture, do I need to press harder/softer or longer/shorter ?

Hoping for some advice.

Black is the last color to sublimate, keep that in mind.
So if any of the design is black then that would tell you that it needs to go longer.

How long did you press it for?
What temp did you press at?

I'd say cooler (5 degrees maybe) and longer due to being cooler (15 sec)

Well, I found that i was printing with the best quality settings instead of the standard setting. I pressed this one 40 seconds on 180c and the result I think looks ok.

Congrats mate. What a difference when you cracked it! very nice punch to your image.

Looks great! Don't forget, with apparel, you can use fabric or cut a shirt into test pieces. That way you won't waste shirts. You may still need to tweak the pressure a bit when moving to imaging an actual shirt but it will be nominal.
