I've got a reload paper error on my 5 - I've cleaned and checked the platten, theres no problem with the black tape. I've cleaned the sensor, but still no joy.

I've also checked the printer settings against the manual and they're OK. One minute it was printing, the next it wasnt.

Any tips or tricks to get this running again? I hope it's not the sensor...I've already had to replace more parts than I care to mention on this machine...

Thanks

Knowing what machine you're using would be helpful!

Unscrew the sensor from the side of the head carriage and pop the sensor out of the casing and try to clean it. If it still doesn't work then first port of call is replacing the sensor.

Although the first thing to check is that the scissor icon isn't off on the display panel
