Every now and then when I am working in corel with line tracing a bitmap.. I get these stupid little nodes all over my design... (They are the selected and show in orange in the middle of the black letter)

Is there a way to get rid of them in my art without having to go in and delete every one of them?

Normally for screen printing I wouldn't care about them, they dont effect anything.. but they create a huge problem when cutting out the design...

Any help would be awesome.

Scott someone else may have an idea with Corel but I've tried everything including reducing nodes and a ton of the other options. I find that Inkscape gives a much cleaner trace. Then I save as a eps and open in Corel and all the extra nodes are not there.

Hey Sean, long time no talk, How are things going with you?
I saw you got your auto press?

Yeah I have tried everything too.. I dont know what the deal is, I tried rebitmapping it and retracing the image, but still no luck.

I just popped it into Illy and worked it and it worked out much better.

I bought a old Lawson Vector. Its a 1995. I wanted to get a low cost auto plus it had to fit in my small shop. The heads lift instead of the table. Funny I have had a few tell me that its too old and outdated. A few of the new press lift the head as its suppose to be better. this thing seems to hold registration very well. It has a very similar registration gate to the M&R sidewinder

You should try Inkscape. For simple stuff it gives low node counts and IMO I think it give better results then Corel or Illy for simple to medium detail graphics. I am going to try and do a video next week. When I started out 7 years ago doing vinyl Corel and Illy totally sucked for tracing. Inkscape was the only program I could get to do a decent trace. Things are different today and both have improved their tcacing function. Corel does work better if you reduce the nodes in the options
