I align the pocket to the upper left corner of the platen and then place the artwork in the center of the pocket. I made a template in corel then anytime I do a pocket I place in the center of my crosshairs. This way if you align the pocket to the platen the logo comes out centered on every tee. I also drop the platen to C and then change print direction to UNI. It might take some time to figure out the first time but this system works over and over.

I'd print a test out onto a sheet of paper - then I'll mark the area with blue painter's tape on the platen where it printed. Throw the pc. of paper away cause it'll get ink on the shirts if you leave it there. Then just line up the pocket with the tape you just put down for exact placement.

other tips - Heat press the pocket first to get it as flat as possible & lower the platen down one notch (or maybe even 2 notches if needed) so the ink doesn't rub on the edges of the pocket.

Also you can put blue painters tape on the edges of the pocket if you are still worried about it rubbing. Peel off the blue tape when it's done printing before putting it in the heat press.

It might also make it easier to see the area with the painter's tape if you use a smaller platen.
