I have a design that i am about to get printed out and i was trying to see if i can get by on printing a lighter color on top of black ink. I was just wondering because i have an old crappy 2009 press that doesnt have micro registration and i wanted to they and cheat. An example.. i have a black background that has a yellow text. usually you would print out the yellow first and then add the black background on it first but will it work? Or i shouldnt waste my time and just try to match up the registrationand line them up?

Print the yellow text and then drop the black around it. Add a little extra stroke to the yellow to compensate for the registration.
