Mga Sirs,

I've been in this Asia t-shirt forum for almost 3 years now but rarely heard of fellow pinoys talking about artwork.

If all kababayans here don't mind, lets share tips and tricks regarding artwork which is also one of the most important part in screen printing.

I mainly used Photoshop and CorelDraw. I'm not an expert on these programs but glad to help any questions that I might able to answer....Ano sa tingin nyo mga sir?

Pag nag supply ng low res image design ang customer nyo paano nyo ito nereresolve?

Ang sa akin, kung solid color sya meaning to say hindi photo from camera, I'll recreate them using Corel. I think standard na man siguro to sa mga screen printers who do their own artwork.

Sa akin separate ang bayad at saka kung madali lang naman i retrace sa Corel ant marami ang shirt, free of charge na.

I also use vector clipart as a replacement nung design ng customer if ever ok lang sa customer. This way madali lang and you can save time.

mostly screen printers are asking for 300dpi reso of the design para madali iprint sa positive.. may iba kasi ngpapaprint kaso ung design ay maliit ung resolution tapos babaratin ka pa lol.. im still a noob printer actually pero ang puwedeng gawin is to trace the image either using PS, illustrator or corel..

kung image or pinicturan lang ung design medyo mahihirapan tayo sa pagtrace nun waha.. i suggest to trace it under A4 or A3 size with 300dpi reso para makuha ung fine details ng design..

medyo mabusisi at matagal ang process ng resizing or tracing.. i wonder kung ano ginagamet niyong tool for rasterizing or blowing up an image mga sir? thanks

For similar images, I am more comfortable with corel draw importing the raster as guide and drawing from scratch.

sa akin naman ganun din, kung maramihan na at simple lng ang design wala na ako charge, corel gamit ko pang trace.

wala dn kse ako sa idea kung panu ang singilan ng artwork, nde dn kse ako marunong sa designing/graphics, kse nag-focus ako sa tatakan lng, pede po ba kayo mag-share kung papano ang tamang diskarte sa artwork?

or mas ok kung mag-hire nalang ng artist?

Depende sa design mo. Yung ibang artist kasi nagkocontribute ng ideas at sa tingin ko OK ang ganun. Kung redraw lang image siguro kung P100-200 lang pwede na rin.

tama si brojames.. mga 200 pagtracing pero pag from scratch na design mga 500 siguro hehe depende pa sa complexity ng design
