I'm new to the game trying to figure out legalities and copy write laws for Ontario Canada and Internet, also what type of lawyer would be able to help protect my designers freedom of speech and what is covered. Some of the designs I have can be a little bold, daring and some what offensive. I don't beleve sensorship is need. Any help would be appreciated. So much to do so little time.

If you want to consult an attorney, you would contact an Intellectual Property attorney. They are experts in copyrights, trademarks and their usage in commerce. They will be able to help protect your IP, but also advise you how not to infringe on someone else's IP.

Freedom of speech is not typically an issue with t-shirts. As long as you are not infringing on copyrights or trademarks, you can pretty much put anything on a shirt and sell it.

You can read more on IP at Canadian Intellectual Property Office - Home
