Layers not aligning

Hi all I'm making some jerseys for my softball team two colors white & black. I'm layering the the two white goes first them the black on top.
The problem is that once I remove the liner for the white it is stretching and the black layer on top does not fit well. What am I doing wrong?
using manuf. specs for the vinyl.
330F at 17 seconds. medium pressure.
The jerseys are polyester
Using standard heat transfer vinyl.

Any help would be appreciated.

Press the white for 1 to 2 seconds so the backing will release easier so that the shirt does not stretch when backing is peeled. Peel warm.
If you are pressing on synthetic material it will take some practice to get good at it.....You may need to put a "trap on 1 of the colours so they overlap a bit....
Thank you Luis I will Try that.
I had the same problem - the short press of white first to "tack" it down then put the other color on top. I press both colors for a a few seconds longer then required maybe 5 or so seconds and as my OCD kicks in I always repress after cooling with a cover sheet for 5 sec. Hope this helps.
