laser printing on transer paper and screen printed white underbase

Hi people,
I have one question......does any one tried to print color image with color laser hp printer on screen transfer paper than to print white plastisol ink over as underbase than over white glue and press it on dark t-shirts?

This is result with that kind of printing......man who make this ask for enormous amount of money to sell me how to make this possible......

So if any one knows how to and like to share secret please help us....
i know this is very cheap production and it cost less than 2$ per A4 paper
it is very good print no bleeding we washed it over 60 degrees celzius in washing machine and still look like new

What do you mean by apply powder coat? is it powder glue, and it goes on screen printed white underbase?

I don't have the system but the powder coat (from the video linked) is a plastisol that aids in allowing both the ink (white or clear) and toners to peel off the transfer. The "powder coat" is applied while the screen printing is still wet. This improves adhesion and peel.

This process is not really new, many transfers made in the old days from high speed offset printers were a similar concept.

I was going to start a new thread asking if anyone was doing this but having found this one I thought I would tag my question on to this one.
(apologies if that's the wrong way to go about it)

I came across these instructions with a how to in .pdf format

and wanted to ask if anyone is doing it this way rather than by using a special white toner laser printer, or if there was another way of doing it without a special laser.

I can't see anyone screen printing the laser paper then putting it through a laser printer but then again with advances in technology you never know.

For the product you linked to ... they screen print the white or clear underbase after the laser printing, not before.

Yes, they explain that in the .pdf.

That stuff looks interesting. They have a US branch office. The main unknown would be washability.

A similar type transfer has been made before on offset presses, print it then screen print a white or clear base, then add some kind of binding powder while the inks are still wet.

Yes, but I am doubtful about the claim that water based inks can be used, and presses six months after the paper is made.
I have asked them to get in touch with me. Lets hope they do.

Will do, still doubtful re using water based, maybe someone else will chip in with some experience/opinion.

An update, the company replied to my contact this weekend, that's four weeks after contacting them. They want to know the exact make on watebased ink I have.
WIll update again when they respond to my answers,

The company got back in touch with me and gave me details of their UK Distributor, I await a responsew from them.
Meanwhile, This is an interesting read

Does anyone know of a UK based Hot Melt Powder Supplier for Permaset Aqua Inks please?

Hi,
I have bought digipeel paper and backing last year. DONT BOTHER wasting time and money on it. It is not worth for anything. The images when you transfer them in t-shirt are pale, and cant last a single washing. I've tryed anything.

I'veprinted thetransfers on xerox dc12, and transfered them on siser transfer press. Tried different temperatures, increesing/decreesing time... Same effect on a 100% cotton t-shirt. You can buy it if you want maybe it will work for you so you can help me. I've bought them from a company named Druma in Holland. Try druma.nl
