Laser Printer Options

It seems that everyone wants to recommend OKI printers for laser transfers. I agree that the OKI printers do a great job, but I now have four OKI printers with issues. I am ready to try something different. Can anyone recommend a different laser printer option that will give comparable results?

What problems are you having with Oki printers. I've had my share of them. What paper have you been using?
I have used most of the papers available. Imageclip Laser Dark/Light/Photo-Trans, Laser 1 Opaque, LaserMPrints, CL TrimFree, etc. The most common problems with the OKI printers is the fusers and toner rollers go bad.
Oki Toner has some of the best wash durability, which is one reason I've stayed with Oki. I'm currently using the 6050 with Duracotton HT and Awesome Invisible. Like everyone else, I'm still waiting for the perfect paper to be made.

What was your experience with CL Trim-Free ?
I am going to work with the CL papers a little more. You really can beat the price. I was getting a light tan color on the white areas of the prints that transferred to the shirts. I think this might have been an issue with the OKI I was using. The color transferred very bright like the sample prints they show you at trade shows.

Thanks for the link. The Magic Touch is a good company and I trust their research. They were the only company that OKI had certified for there printers when I asked my issues about a year ago. That gives me a good place to start. I don't care if printers are disposable as long as the don't start at $600.
