Is anyone else out there actually getting good consistant results with there Kornit?

I run a Kornit Storm II in Australia and it has been the worst decision regarding machinery purchase to date.....

In the 9 months since it was installed I'm not sure if we have had more then a week without a tech call. Not to mention the numerous other problems.

If anyone wants or needs more info feel free to contact me I have pages and pages of error logs and machine issues with photos and information to go with.

I'm just the operator here, but the Storm II has been nothing but problems since being installed here as well. Is there anything specific that might have happened?
Hey Guys

Yes I had a hell of a time for the first year of Kornit Storm II ownership.

IMO it comes down to how well your machine is setup and configured as there are ALOT of variables that you need to get right in order to print good looking shirts.

I actually no longer run our Kornit Storm II, however if you explain some issues you are having I may be able to help.

In the last 6 months of running the Kornit our main issue was getting enough work to keep the machine running to its potential.

At a guess I was printing on average 7000 prints P month. This machine is capable of ALOT more prints per month if you were to run 2 shifts.

The only real issue our Storm II had in the past 6 months was a degassing error which I traced back to being poor quality brittle vacuum line inside of the printer.

We just ordered some new flexible airline and installed it ourselves.

How many prints are you guy getting per hours. We got (2) Storm IIs are are running 22 hrs per day/7 days per week and with both pallets always full running all dark shirts single pass in production mode we can only get 25 shirts per hour per machine.

Looking for some ideas as I'm 2500 shirt in the whole and turning down business everyday, but aren't financially stable enough to buy anymore printers.

Wow 25 per hour? Are these individual prints that need a bit of prep or single design bulk order runs? Is 'Production Mode' referring to a higher quality print needed for retail customers?

Sorry for the very delayed follow up.

Im happy to say we got a new distributor in Australia and they went above and beyond to help us get the Storm II up and running.

We haven't had to call out a tech in at least 6 months and are so happy I also added a Kornit Breeze to our business.
