I was looking at the King Fashions hoodies and noticed that they were considerably more expensive than hoodies from other companies. Then, I looked at the high rez pictures and noticed that they did not even have side seams. Not that the side seams bother me, but I figured a high quality clothing company would use clothing with side seams.

So I was wonder, is the price just because it's Canadian Made, or is it cause the hoodies are are actually great quality?

I looked around, but I couldn't find anything on this, so has anyone had any experience with them?

They are a pretty decent garment but you are correct, the cost is largely due to being Canadian made. If the country of origin isn't important there is better value out there.

Thanks! I was thinking no one had any experience on it, since there was so little info on it in the forums.

How do you think they would compare to gildan hoodies? Would it be a big jump in quality, or would it be just a small difference?

Also the website keeps talking about how they are using the best yarns and stuff. Does this mean they are ringspun quality fabric, or is it just a marketing thing?

I'm in Calgary where King's is based and I've seen a fair amount of them go through here. They are better than the Gildan Cotton hoods. Depending on your purpose, the average person on the street may not likely recognize the differences in a comparison so you have to decide whether the extra cost will be appreciated.
Remember the particular style you are looking at has a contrast hood which always cost more than a solid. You aren't really making a fair comparison if you are looking at basically 2 different garments.
