Hello,
I am just starting out and have a general question. What would be a good amount of each size to purchase in shirts? do you find you sell large and xlarge more?
Also who do you use that you would recommend?
Thanks Tim

Hi Tim

Based on my research, the guidelines were 2 S, 4M, 4L, 2XL and then you multiply out for the total you want to produce. In my experience this isn't always the best guidance. You need to determine where you are selling as well and what your target market is - I have found that when I sell at flea markets, the crowd generally has less people that fit small and medium, so those didn't sell while we ran out of L and XL.
Also consider if you are doing unisex shirts, and marketing to men and women, that the women might order the smaller sizes and that would affect the mix of sizes.
Sometimes it really is trial and error to learn this.
