Hi,
I just want to say hello and let you know that i am just starting out. I am the proud owner of an Epson pro 7600, an epson photo 1400 an MT871 cutter (sorry) and a heat press, awaiting my brand new Brother 650e embroidery machine to arrive:D.
I am afraid to say got the gear but have no idea lol. Looking for software for my 7600 and MT871 cutter. This forum is the best thing ever, i have learnt so much here and would like to say a great big thank you.
Regards
Sue

Hi Sue, welcome aboard. Now that you've got the gear, I guess it's time to learn how to use it. I can't help you with that because I don't have any of your gear except for the 1400 and a heat press. If you are thinking about doing heat transfers and using that 1400 to print them, I suggest you get some blank ink carts for it and some bulk pigment ink from cobra ink.
Hi Loretta,
Thank you for the welcome. I am in the UK so cobra inks would be a little to far away for me. I was wondering if i could change the claria ink in my 1400 for pigmented ink without doing any damage to the printer? I have a ciss system on order.
If you are going to be using the 1400 for heat transfers with say JPSS inkjet transfer paper you will need pigment ink. The claria ink is a dye ink that will come off the transfer in the washer. The last thing a new business needs is a customer coming back with a ruined shirt. Or you could get an 1100 if you can find one still. They discontinued it and what's left are getting harder to find, but it uses the pigment (durabrite) ink.
Your absolutely right Loretta, thats the last thing i need. Just ordered winpcsign 2012 hope its ok, i want to be able to rhinestone too.
