Really stoked and can't wait! I ordered the TransPro 15x15. I know it's technically not one of the name brand presses everyone starts off with, but for starters, I think it will work just fine. Then once profit's increase we will upgrade to a more powerful press.

I just got my first press about a month ago.... working on my first order. 150 shirts front and back. It is a trial and error situation in my shop for sure.
Congrats. Did you also get the TransPro? If you don't mind me asking, how did you get your first 150 order?

We plan to network through family and friends and have an online store, possibly some shows/flea markets, etc...

NO..... I bought a package deal. I live in an apartment and have very little space.

I am a musician and have played in many different bands..... we got to talking about merchandise and I did a bunch of research. I figured I could make my own shirts.

First order was through a friend..... just talking to people and letting them know you are capable to doing them. You will be surprised how many people will be interested. Just get the word out.

I have also attended ASI and NBM shows before I started..... those are some good conventions to look into.

Sounds like a good start. As long as the top platten heats up properly and keeps the temp, you shouldn't have any issues with the import presses.

I myself have one, not from ProWorld, and it works great. Waaaaayyy cheaper than all the "top" brands out there and I can always keep it as backup if I ever decide to upgrade

That's what we plan to do, use it as a secondary once we upgrade but for now I think this should work. I hope we don't have any platten heat issues. I need to find a temp gun.
