Want to print and press a 4 foot x 8 foot sheet of Aluminum? How we can handle it, on our new duel Platen 60"x 108" heat press. Will show sample after we level it. Has 8 separate heat zones on this OK450 from Practrix.com.
More later.

Not with ease.
The guy I bought it from, told me it was 5000 pounds. So I put together a great plan. Then the 18 wheeler flat bed showed up. Ouch! I asked the driver how much the sucker weighted when he crossed the state highway scales. He laughed as I was sitting on my 6000 pound forklift, and said 14,000 pounds. Ouch new plan.
Called a friend and had a 35000 pound fork lift, next to the flatbed, it 1 hour, he toss it to the ground and pushed it into our warehouse.
Had it running in 24 hours. Time to tweak it and get into production by Tuesday. Fingers cross.

Well we have been 100% running for a few days now.
This is quite a heat press. I intend to post photos this weekend of it operating.
Funny this press with 2 60x108 platens is only 4 feet longer than the Maxi press we had which had 2 40x64" platens. Running 480 volt 3 phase vs. 220 single phase for the Maxi. Daily operating cost to be studied. .

The electric bill is easy figure and the difference in cost compared to your old press. Just look at the rating plate and look for watts or most likely KW in this case.

Dave those newest uniforms are so much brighter then the last was this due to the new printer? Nothing wrong with pervious ones but the customer had to come show me and was super appreciated that I sent them to you.

The new 1638 Mutoh is set up with 6 colors and 2 spot neon colors. We really worked hard on the profiles to get the most out of it, Sean. Thanks for the good feed back.
