Hello all! I just bought an Epson wf 2750 just to print out some designs to put on my son’s T-shirt’s. I know I will be using the jpss transfer paper but was wondering will it be okay to use the Epson durabrite ultra ink? I’ve read mixed feelings about those inks. If not, what ink do you recommend and do I have to get an ciss to use 3rd party inks? Sorry I’m all new to this. Thank you for your time

here is a primer on jpss, mgparrish lays out the best method for application in there

here is a search for jpss in the heat transfer section for more info

i'm currently using jpss with the durabrite inks, and i usually give the yellow a bump down to -7 in the advanced print settings
one set i just finished i also had to bump the magenta down to -3 (photo - heavy on greens)
so you may have to do some small tests depending on image (info on how in above search string)

Hey thanks for the reply. Good to know the durabrites work. I didn’t want to invest in a cis because I wouldn’t be printing that often. From what I’ve been reading, it seems like the ideal setting that people are using for durabrites would be [ -15 yellow +5 mag +5 cyan ]. Maybe if I can find a refillable cart with reset, I will try some heat transfer ink.
