Is JPSS just for white or will it work on light colors like blues yellows grays etc? I know that anything white will show through and when I design I make my background the color I plan the shirt to be so I know how it looks. So just thought I'd ask what other color people use it on while I wait for some samples to arrive, l am fighting with fed ex now but that is a whole nother post.

Since there is no white under the colors being printed, it will affect how they look too, not just the white space. So red on a green shirt might look brown, for example.

Also, on white shirts the "plastic box" of the clear transfer does not show up. On ash gray it is barely noticeable. Any darker than that and it is clearly evident. Of course, one could cut away any non-printed area as one has to do with transfer paper for darks.

You can have a whole lot of fun playing with this. It's great for doing shadow prints if you can't find htv the right colour - just use a colour a few shades darker than the shirt. I've also used it for an image on a bone/sand coloured shirt which was too fussy to cut on opaque transfer. Had to bump up the intensity in the image so the lighter colours didn't get lost but it regulated out again because of the substrate colour and looked great. Just use your imagination and play with it on scraps.
