I have AI, gimp, and inkscape. How can I vector a jpg saved image. It has a white background (box) and a silhoetted figure. I'm new to these programs. Can anyone help please -
Thank You
Shawn

use the trace function in of the programs...then do some cleanup. If you do a trace in a vector program, you can pull the figure out after you ungroup...or send me the file and I will take a look..

I brought in a jpg image into AI. I then used the live trace in scripts. How can I save and use this image now? Is it now vectored? I would like to put a image behid this image and add some colors and textures.
