I'm trying to figure out a way to print and cut without the optic eye.
Setup is Epson R1900 + Pcut 630 cutter + SignCutPro software.
My progress so far has been such that I print a design on the Jet Opaque paper with my own registration mark, I have marks on the cutter itself to keep the paper straight.
Problem is it seems Adobe Illustrator won't print 100% the same scale as the cutter cuts. I'm sure the cutter scale is ok, because I've measured various cutouts, and it seems that whatever setting I fiddle with in the print window, the print itself isn't exact.
I've read about using FexiSign for both print and cut, is this a good option?

If you guys have any other tips or videos on doing this, I'll be glad to learn.
I plan on getting a cutter with the optic eye, but the price difference is so large I need to save up for it, but in the meantime I would like to do some things that can't be cut by hand.

Thanks!

I do not know how your going to cut exactly without the eye. It will be hit or miss and you might as well cut it with and x-acto knife. JMHO
