Try leaving a little tab on the design that you can cut off after peeling. You can then use the tab area to separate the carried from the backing. Once done, just trim off the surplus tab area.

We are just starting out in the heat transfer business, we are embroiders. I can not figure out how to peel the backing paper off without ruining the heart transfer before I put it onto the garmet. can some one clue me in? It just can't be that hard.
