Hi there, I am looking into getting into part time embroidery. Nothing too major, but have been grazing for awhile now. I have narrowed my search and budget to the Janome 350e, and Brother 1250D. I will also be purchasing the software junior, or pe-lite. Can anyone give me some insight as to what machine would be better? What are pros and cons of both? Any tips or advise would be greatly appreciated.

BTW- Embroidering baby stuff, and specialty items is what Im looking to do most of. I know alot of moms.

I had a janome 350 for about 2 months, then i switched to a brother pr-620.
The janome machine is nice for a hobby, but if you must work profesional with it then it keeps you busy because you must stay with the machine.
It only has one needle and thread changes take time.
If you want to embroider something a little bit more heavy (600gr/m2 towel for example) i think the machine is to light to do such.
