Using a GT541 printer and a Insta Graphic Press

- I have a client who always orders the safety green shirts - they print great however leave a residue on the heat press. Every time I try to print onto white or light shirts after a batch of safety green - it actually transfers a yellow rectangle onto the shirt ruining it!

I have cleaned the press with oven cleaner as recommended online which certainly takes off lots of old ink (quite gross actually) but still see a faint yellow box.

Any suggestions?

We use parchment paper to cover the safety green shirts when pressing. We ruined an upper platen cover on those pesky safety green shirts. I suggest you also get a platen cover to protect the upper platen from getting stained again.
