Is this screen printed or other?

Of course its hard to tell without seeing it in person. However maybe someone who's much more experienced than myself can shed some light. I just wanted to know if the garment below looks to be screen printed? I can't tell if its that or maybe a vinyl transfer? I'm guessing the material of the shorts is some type of mesh polyester. Anyone have an idea on the printing method used?
