Hi im new to this site and i was wondering if anyone here could help me with this design i have been haveing numours problems with i have tryed everything in my knowledge of screen printing.

Im useing corel draw x4 if that helps

sorry i added the image to the original post now and the image comes looking really nasty once printed is there anyway to get most of the detail into in it and still have it clear?

You need a high resolution photo of the art or scan it in. Should be a simple black and white image and single color print black on white.

i have tried scanning it numorus times but my scanner wont help the issue and the customer wants in a one color red image

is there something i should do at the printing stage like from the computer and when it comes time to screen it

assuming you have photoshop, and are scanning into it.. You can watch some or any of the tutorial on photoshop? anyhow you need to scan it into photoshop... hopefully your scanner will bring it in at 300 or 600dpi.. then go to levels, play with it or even just the adjustment for brightness and contrast and make it a higher contrast image in black and white.. look at it as you need it and go for it..

How big is the drawing in the frame?

If it is too big for your scanner.
Before taking a picture of it. I would take it out of the frame, or get rid of the glass for a start.
That will reduce your light reflections.

I have photoshop cs3. it lets me scan large images in sections then I can use the "Photomerge" selection. under the File> Automate> Photomerge. This will let me put a large image made up of several tiles together.

Should be easy to screen. I'd just use a 300 mesh screen and careful washing it out and all the detail should stay
