Hey every one I just wanted to know is there a pattern creating software (or effect/ feature in illustrator or photoshop), by which I could enter a designs (or more than one) for example a letter “A” and it would create/generate a pattern. Kind of like the louis vuitton print put more varied/random.

Not sure about illy as I use Corel. Couldnt you create a custom brush with your "A"?

Rema - There's a way to do it in Illustrator through the "swatch" palette. You'll actually be creating a pattern and then filling the object - an "A" in your case - with the pattern you create.

If you go to your swatches palette and click on the "show pattern swatches" you should see several pre-made swatches there. Drag one out onto your AI document and you should get an idea of how to make your own pattern. Once you make your new pattern you just drag it back to the swatches palette and use that to fill your object.

You can also go to the Adobe Help Center (Help > Illustrator Help) and type in "create pattern swatch" and it will show you how to do it.
