I am dealing with a bad customer who rushed us and confirmed on the phone with the artwork, but after we printed, he changed his mind on the design.

We printed on some expensive jackets, so we can't throw these away at a loss. Is there any way to remove the Laser 1 Opaque heat transfer?

I'm sorry, but if he confirmed the artwork and reneged after the jackets were printed then he's responsible for payment. I hope you got enough of a deposit on the order to cover costs.

As for removing laser 1 opaque. You can try a hand held steamer to work it lose then peel it off but it most certainly will leave a mark.

Good Luck!

Removing opaque will leave trace of adhesive on the substrate.

Try this, press a clean sheet of copy paper over the transfer then peel it off while still hot. I had done it and it works. There are solution that will take the transfer off. I had been using 100% acetone. Not the nail polish remover. I bought mine from Walgreens. I apply it behind the fabric. In your case if the jacket has lining the lining will absorb it. So Get a glass syringe. Fill it with acetone. Don't use plastic. Acetone will eat it. start on one corner of the transfer. Put few drops around it. So it soak the fabric and loosen the transfer. Once it is loose apply more on the exposed area next to the loose corner. It does not take long for the acetone to react with the adhesive. Clean traces of adhesive with cotton ball soaked with acetone.

BTW test a spot in an area of the jacket that is obvious it acetone reacts with the fabric. Test it under the armpit.

Good luck.
