So I purchases my dk20s October 2014 and the thing is a tank. It has definitely paid for itself but the one thing that has always held me back is the fact it said it was threadable but when you would do smaller shirts the bottom half would not go past the botton piece holding the table platen on and you would need to stretch the shirts a bit to get them all the way on the platen. Well the latest dk20s seema to have a new platen to base attachment so im curious if this has allowed the press to truly be threadable despite what the specs say. If you look at shalhs heat press caddie it allows the shirt to be fully threadable so theres no concern but its hard to tell for this new model if the placement of the platen to base attachment is farther down this time to correct the previous issues of threadability.

Thanks!

Is it the base that holds the lower platen that gets in your way for a full thread?

This one in the link looks like the base is dead center under the platen. If yours is too, then it will be the same issue on the new as on the old.
Yea this one look to be more in the center so its probably going to cause the same issue. Thats a shame. You think they would have caught on with the design update. It has a great price point but with that same flaw its just not worth it.
