I recently found a used DTG printer online that needs new print heads. The costs of a brand new machine of the same model is around $16,000. Whereas, this used machine is under $4000.

I understand new print heads costs $1000 a piece. But, once I do the math, this is still cheaper than buying the same machine brand new. [Link no longer works]

How do you know for sure that it only needs new printheads and no other repair?

It's a risk, but how bad can it be?

I bought 2 DTG printers in similar condition a few years ago, and they both easy to fix.
