Hi all,

I have just joined this forum as I need an answer to a question to which I have previsously received an unsatisfactory answer.

The question is thus: is there any image that is impossible to put on a t-shirt (using any method; I posted here because it seems like screen printing is my best bet)?

I have quite an intricate design
(the image can be seen here: SoDub T-Shirts) and I was told it couldn't be done as "screen print won't be as sharp as you want. Embroidery won't give the detail. The closest would be a transfer but the detail of the white shiny bits is too fine for the machine to accurately cut around."

Any help would be much appreciated.

Best regards,
Barry

Barry,
This design looks like it's a good candidate for DTG. If you want to keep the contrast, I imagine you would print it on black or other dark shirts. If you went with DTG on a black/dark shirt, it would require a white underbase. Not all DTG machines print white ink, though. I have a T-Jet Blazer and have printed several images on dark shirts with "gleams" around letters, and they come out great. Theoretically:D, if you can see it on the computer screen, you can print it with DTG. Hope this helps.
