Good day, ::UPDATE:: ~ See below~
I ran across an opportunity to purchase a Toyota 860 for about $1400. I am wanting to expand beyond just screen printing and would like to get a start into embroidery. I just do not know if this is a good thing or not. I know it had been regularly serviced and has hoop for hat and software.
My main worry is if something breaks or goes wrong, can it still be fixed/get parts.
Any thoughts if this is worth it or not would be very helpful.
UPDATE:
I found out more about the unit. It comes with a few more hoops. Regular size, Hat hoop and an extra large. It has been serviced locally just about a year or so ago. 10 Hours on it after service. All manuals and records are very well kept. It also has a heavy duty clamping system she will sell as well. A Melco ICTCS2 and its hoops. Has been upgraded from Floppy to USB. It does not come with digitizing software.
So this is where I am at. She wants $1700 for everything. Question still is...
Is it worth the money for any frustration I may have with it. And a large learning curve. The good thing is once I figure it all out, I have someone willing to run it for me. Just have to teach her.
Thanks for any advice.
