I was just wondering if anyone is currently using the ioline crysal press? likes or dislikes....i know there are some threads but they are back a couple of years...I have been making my own designs and templettes brushing the stones in, that is so time consuming. I have just started the business and dont want to make a huge investment as in a cams, tho they look awesome, Please just some feed back would be awesome and really appreciated, Thank you!!!

Hi.
Great questions. We use different heat presses. We have HIX and KNIGHT at this time. So far these have been the most robust and sturdy heat presses we have purchased. I would recommend either of them. Here are specific directions for heat pressing or using an iron.
If you are tired of setting your own stones and need help, we would love to assist you. Please send me information so we can make it cost effective for you.

I don't think this thread is about heat presses. It is about the rhinestone setting machine "Ioline Crystal Press". I assume dmbeard1 already has a heat press since their post mentions that they have been doing the designs by templates. Hopefully some of the many owners of the Ioline Crystal Press post here soon to help you out!!

Yes, i just want info in the ioline press. I tried to get some info
On the rhinestone thread but no one replied :(.
Please if someone has personal info it would be awesome
To hear what u have to say! Yes, i have a 16 x 20 heat press,
A vinyl cutter and a epson 7010 printer!
I don't know about the answers u asked about. I'm new in the industry too.
But I also hope sb will reply with the right clue. So that I can learn more!

Good luck!
I have it and have had it for a few years now and I love it, The price was right for me and it sits next to me and works as i work.

It is slower than a cams but much less in price as well.

It does beautiful jobs on transfers and can use many sizes of stones and colors, when one color is done it stops and waits for you to fill the cup with the color,

I am very happy with my purchase.

Here are some photo 's of some of my work with it,

I just got my ioline crystal press delivered Friday afternoon. BTW, I run a Tshirt line called Addict by Pawprint.
The press has been set up as instructed but the C tip won't drop the stones picked. At first, it dropped most of the stones on the sides and just a few on d real artwork, then all of a sudden, it wouldn't even drop the stones anymore.

Error message says Ctip might be dirty. How possible is it for a new press to have dirty C tips?

I would be happy to get help from this forum as the distance to Seattle from Nigeria is such a big issue.
It seems like Sandy has the Crystal press down, the pictures/designs are very impressive! I will find some photos for you to look at too...

I have have had one for about 4 years now and I would just say that it's a great machine to start on. We now have a much bigger (and faster) setting machine.

They are great when they work the way you want them to but an absolute pain when not! Which can be quite often. Luckily I'm quite handy and know the machine in and out now so can adjust/recollaborate the settings and fix any problems. The design software is basic but like I said it's good to learn on.

If you're prepared to get involved with a screw driver at times and learn about the actual machine I'd say go for it. It needs patience and tender loving care lol. Every machine comes with it's problems so no point trying to avoid it.

Up to 6 different sizes of stones or colours, it's great when you make it work.

Don't expect all the stones to be the right way up either, definitely not with chinese stones!
Korean stones are okay, Preciosa and Swarovski are almost perfect every time.

Smallest stone size you can use is ss6, maybe ss4 in the ss6 bowl if you're lucky.

Hope that helps!

The crystal press is very sensitive ha. Screw the C tip off and double DOUBLE check for any fluff or dirt stuck inside. Also blow on the fibre optic end (with the spring around it)

New tips are always sticky because it's fresh rubber. Try dabbing a little talcum powder or flour on it first. That will then allow the sticky tape to pull the stone from the tip.

Any more questions just ask :)

Hey Ess, great work!!! I really love the flag, beautiful work!! What are the small flowers on the tree design made of? They almost look like oyster shell material. Beautiful work!!!
Thanks Marilyn :) ... It's just clothing vinyl, pink glitter vinyl that is a little different from the hologram sparkle stuff - Catches the light nicely!
