Interactive pdf?

Does anyone know the easiest way to make an order form, that can be e mailed to a customer so they can fill it out and e mail it back to me? Is it called an interactive pdf? After much searching can't seem to find a free solution. Thanks, Mike

when you say free solution?? do you have microsoft word and Adobe??
Sounds like a bit too many steps for a regular consumer to me. My suggestion would be to make a simple web form that they can fill out and submit. A lot of my customers don't even understand how to add an attachment, let alone will have Acrobat Reader installed/etc. A web form will eliminate a lot of that issue, while also allowing you to ensure certain required fields are filled out to your liking.

I'd agree about having a web form. I think it would be easier for customers. However, you do have to have some sort of back end script (on the server) to process it (I code mine myself, I'm not sure what "out of the box" type solutions there are for this, if any). The form could just send an email to you when you get an order.

As far as generating a PDF there are plenty of free programs that will let you do it (heck, my Linux machine comes with a PDF creator for free). If it's windows there's stuff like cutePDF and PDF995. You shouldn't need Acrobat. I've never made a PDF with a form though.
