Any tips on a good Software package. ( a lot of the problem seems to be distortion when I enlarge the design. I have been using transfer paper from Best Blanks. It seems to be good. Any suggestions on anything to do with ink Jet heat transfers will be appreciated.

Angelo, I would recommend CorelDraw with an instructional CD set from Lynda.com. A lot of folks here use Adobe Illustrator which I've never used. Though some also use Adobe Photoshop. I have photoshop elements 6, but still not sure how to use it. The coreldraw was actually easier to learn than I thought it would be, especially after viewing the CDs. I would recommend those that are taught by Mark Abdelnour. He makes it look so simple and explains everything in detail.

But even if you print out your images on MS Word when you get the pic of your image onscreen and you want to make it bigger use the corner markers only. They will expand or decrease the size of your picture without distortion. If the picture gets fuzzy its because there weren't enough pixels in the original photo, or the size wasn't right to begin with. There's something about 300 dpi (I'm thinking dots per inch but could be wrong on that) that everyone says the pics need to be a minimum of in order to increase the size without losing clarity of images.

I have CorelDraw Graphics Suite X3 and the CDs I bought the CorelDraw Graphics suite X3 essential training from Lynda.com. The CDs were expensive, but were worth every penny. I know there is a newer version of CorelDraw, I think it's X4.
