Hey, I've switched to my EPSON Stylus Photo R340 printer and I just got a sample of the waterproof film from Ryonet (omg I love it!) but when I printed a couple images, there r these ink smudge marks on the sides of the film- sometimes even within the image itself. I could obviously cut around the ones on the sides but not the ones in the image!

I've cleaned the nozzles and checked them a million times, I've aligned the cartridges and everything. Y am I still getting all these unwanted marks all over? Thanks.

I had this issue a while back with my Epson R1800.
It turned out that ink had leaked onto the track wheel within the printer (next to the pad that waste ink is dumped on from the print heads). Anyway, for whatever reason it happened, what I ended up doing was running simple prints through using paper to 'mop up' the ink. It worked. Just took around 5 prints through. I also carefully blotted with a real absorbant little twist of paper towel. (when the printer is stationary, not printing)

Hope this helps you.
It only happened to me the one time and that was enough.
Yeah, what a pain.
