I have a serious problem,

Last week I had a two color white and green on black job to do the job was a nightmare from the start I had 5 screens blow out on me while washing out after exposure, when I finally got it all set up it printed fine. I had used my digital thermometer to test my dryers temp it was at 327F and the conveyer speed was set properly. My flash was properly heated.

After the job was finished I did the standard quality control looking for spots or smudges, boxed it and sent it off with the customer. Later that evening I received an email stating the white was washing off in the wash leaving only faint spots of white. So I told the customer I would replace them and ordered the shirts to reprint. I used clean screens fresh white lawson ink and fresh kelly green lawson ink. I reprinted the job once again testing my dryer temp and making sure my flash unit was heated properly. I have been using the same settings for most of my print work and never have had this problem. the lady that ordered the shirts has again emailed me and said it was happening again.

We recently moved our printing set up into a 400,000 square foot warehouse and I would run the air in the print room only while there which was only two to three days out of the week. I noticed my ink looked like it was sweating so I am now leaving the air in the print room on all the time because I think the 100 degree f temps may be a problem. I am not sure what my problem is with this happening I have never in ten years had this problem before c an anyone advise me on what the problem may be.

Once again my white is washing out.

Temp of dryer is 327 degrees
Flash unit is heated to proper temp for 8 second flash time
fresh lawson inks were used with clean screens and clean squegee.

I hope you got the two older orders back. And did you do a wash test, to see if the inks washes out. It seems to me she is in a hurry to wash the shirt before even wearing it. I do not have a conveyor or a flash. But I do have a heat transfer press ad I know the shirt is cured. Just test a scrap shirt first if you have not done it already.

A wash test has been done it did happen on the older shirts and this lady has been a loyal customer with several returns so I would never doubt her word. as far as a scrap print I did do a test on another shirt and brought it home and washed it with new ink it did fine.
