Ok first thing you need to do a nozzle check. I'll bet you have some clogged nozzles. Not sure how to do this on a Mac. If the heads are clogged run a head cleaning. If after 1 or 2 cleanings it doesn't clear the nozzle you may need to do a head soaking. There is a good tutorial on cobra inks support page if you can't find it post here and I'll add the link

Make sure to return you density back or you'll end up with ink all over your printer.

Whenever I do a nozzle check it comes out light as well I did a head cleaning today just once tho and it was still doing the same, well actually it came out darker on paper and I don't remember what my density was do you know what the standard is for accurip no wonder I see ink lines all over my film
6 is default. Do you have all black or just 1. If just 1 make sure you don't have the multi black checked. Also droplet weight is standard. Also recommended you have 720x720 or 1440x720 resoultion. I would recommend 720x720 higher you go the smaller the dots become. So less ink is acually used the higher the resolution. Are you using film? Printing on the correct side. The rough side is the print side.

Yeuh I have all black ink, my ink didn't used to do it before it started todo it and wen I print I put the paper size to the film I'm using so its usually 11x17 and yes the rough side
There has been a thread about a update but I don't know if that pertains to Mac check accurips site. Have you had success before. When doing the nozzle checks are there any bars missing. Also take cartridges out and shake and do a head cleaning. Are your cartridges blackmaxx.

After I cleaned the head I printed on white paper and came out dark but on the film it's not
Then I say the problem is with accurip. Check for the update. If you search there was a thread on the forum and the answer was on accurips support page.
Did you refill right before this happened? Maybe the wrong inks?

no it just does it on and off its weird like I have to double my films and the inks werent empty so i didnt refill, but the cartridges are what I ordered for the printer it was working before and then today it just started printing extremely light it..
Print a color image. Yes I know it will print all black either on plain paper or photo paper using the standard print driver and the appropriate settings for the paper your using. If it print ok then accurip is the problem. You need to uninstall using the proper method which is in the accurip manual so you can reactivate it during reinstall or you will have to contact them on Monday. During support hours. I couldn't find it either and I searched here also. I know there was a thread about this before but has been some time ago.

Okay so print a regular image on white paper without accurip and see how it prints??
Yes without accurip. If it print light the the printer would be what I would look at but in it prints black then it's accurip.

Ok I just did it and it came out darker then it did on the film, but it had lines go through it. You think it's the accurip?
if it has lines you have a clogged nozzle which you should see on you nozzle check. Can you print a nozzle check and upload a pic here. if you have a clogged nozzle this will cause accurip to print light. So you may have nothing more wrong than some clogged nozzles

You should have 6 boxes that look identical to the 1 box that has all the lines you have several channels totally plugged and several nozzles on the ones that are printing.
