I am looking for a 'dark' grey plastisol ink. My local vendor only has 'light' grey (just as I do).

Can I mix a little black into it to darken it up? I'm only printing 12 shirts.

Please advise.

You can, but use just a small amount of the light gray ink and add very minute amounts of black to make sure you are happy with the color or shade, and if they ever reorder matching might be really a challenge

you can almost always mix different colors of plastisol inks. We do it all the time. A really good tool is to get a pantone color guide and use it as a start for mixing. If it's a customer who orders frequently, put a little of the mixed ink on a small piece of transfer paper and either tape it on the screen frame or clip it to the workorder for future reference.
